Great Value - Switches and Relays

I bought these switches for use on a pontoon boat. They haven't been installed yet but should be waterproof. We'll see the first rain that comes. Until then, I'll say they're excellent quality. The panel is made of durable aluminum and the switches feel comfortable and crisp. As evidence of this, noises were recorded on my video. The panel comes pre-wired, so one power cord is enough to power all and illuminate all the bottom lights when the power is turned on. A large top indicator appears as each switch is activated to power the device it is running on. The wire is only 18 gauge, so as long as your TOTAL load across all switches combined doesn't exceed 10 amps, you're fine. But the way I rewired it, each switch has its own incoming power wire instead of a common power wire. I'm going to use a switch to turn on all the dash lights, using the red wire that came with the switches as the outgoing power wire from that switch. It turns on all the green LEDs on all the switches together and also lights up on my dashboards. The large top LED on all switches draws power from the power supply for each switch and they only activate when that particular switch is turned on. In the video you can see that all switches have the smaller light on, but only one switch has the large top light on. This is because only one switch gets power, the dash light switch. Others light up when they are powered from another source and activated to run their devices. One thing should not be forgotten. The green color glows at night. Maybe too bright. If you can tilt them so they're not looking directly at you, maybe that's fine. They come with labels covering the top LED showing each individual use. This will help darken them a bit, but until I finish them I'm not sure how much. All in all it's good quality and you won't be disappointed. I only gave it 4 stars because one of my dash switches was a bit loose. I used a small screwdriver to pry open the plastic tabs holding it in place to apply more force so it's more solid. It worked and now everyone is fine. I don't complain about money.
