Review on No-Spill 1450 5-Gallon Poly Gas Can: CARB Compliant and Spill-Proof Solution by Shane Jess

This gas bottle is leaking like crazy! I bought 3 of these and each one leaks between the yellow nozzle and the black cap. But. I fixed them all for about 5 cents. Something a manufacturer could do for everyone. THE SOLUTION: I took one of my wife's hair ties and used a flat head screwdriver to tuck the hair tie behind the black cap and under the yellow spout. The reason they leak, especially when pressure is applied to the spout, is because there is no gasket between the two parts. This is an unwarranted design flaw in a product that 1. claims to be "leakproof" and 2. produces something very dangerous and toxic. Luckily, the right scrunchie solves the problem (see attached pictures). What I also don't like is that you can't lock the button when pouring. It can be a little awkward to try to water.
