These filters are a waste of money for what you get. First, they cost almost $50 and in our house we'll be lucky if they last 3 months. After changing the filter you will need to run about 8-10 gallons through it to get rid of the haze. At this point your filter will drop to almost 90% if you follow the refrigerator's instructions. These filters also filter almost nothing, do nothing. for things like chlorine taste etc. I am really dissatisfied with this product and had I known about this issue I would not have bought my Whirlpool refrigerator.
