Simply have to push the pads into the easy lock grooves for it to hold in place. Be smarter than the equipment your working with. I even painted all the facia and Eves with this and it was basically one coat. The pads hold so much paint you don't need to refill as much as a roller. Being a paint pro I use this for all my jobs and have never had an issue. Also the pads are cleanable and reusable several times over as long as you clean them well. Also the simple roller tray save mess and stress.
