It still contains 31% xylitol but I really don't like the new formula introduced at the end of 2021. See pictures comparing the original to the new formula. It used to have a nice fresh mint flavor but now it feels bland. The mint flavor has moved from the fifth ingredient to the eleventh, and now I don't smell mint at all. In the new formula, they added potassium nitrate, an ingredient that desensitizes nerves. I don't have sensitive teeth and I don't want to brush my teeth unnecessarily with a desensitizing ingredient. Also, the new formula has a more liquid consistency in my opinion. These changes were made without notice or explanation, which is disrespectful to their longtime loyal customers. Is Epic Dental Getting Bad Marketing Advice? I hope they bring back the original formula and sell this new formula separately as a toothpaste for people with sensitive teeth. Until then, I'll keep looking for a good xylitol fluoride mint flavored toothpaste.
