🦷 Epic Dental Xylitol Toothpaste in Refreshing Spearmint Flavor Review

contains fluorine! I've bought this toothpaste before and thought I'd get the same one, but I didn't. I came from the advertised picture but what I got doesn't look like the picture at all. I'm trying to return it but it says NOT VALID FOR REFUND! I am contacting my bank and disputing this purchase because it is misleading and does not match the advertised product.

I loved the old version of this toothpaste. It was really good toothpaste. However, what I didn't know was that they not only changed the packaging but also the formula. IT'S DISGUSTING! Tastes like minty plastic. This makes your mouth very uncomfortable unlike the old formula which left your mouth slightly minty but fresh and clean. I have Sjogren's Syndrome and a very dry mouth. My dentist recommended this product to me, as did my neurologist! I have had no tooth decay after using this toothpaste which I have been using for about 10 years. I don't use any other toothpaste. Good product! Xylitol prevents tooth decay, I am convinced of that!

It still contains 31% xylitol but I really don't like the new formula introduced at the end of 2021. See pictures comparing the original to the new formula. It used to have a nice fresh mint flavor but now it feels bland. The mint flavor has moved from the fifth ingredient to the eleventh, and now I don't smell mint at all. I love the fresh mint flavor of this toothpaste - way better than mint flavor. As a mother of a child with tooth decay, I know there is some controversy about fluoridated foods. However, since we live in an area that doesn't have fluoridated water, I want to make sure I'm doing my best to protect her teeth. This toothpaste is rich in xylitol and fluoride, which help protect against tooth decay when applied topically. If you are looking for a paste of fluoride and xylitol then this is for you!

It used to be a refreshing fluoride-free toothpaste that protected teeth with xylitol, which has been shown to reduce tooth decay and gum disease. The newly designed tube is practical with a hinged lid. But that's the only good update. Flavor and texture are just "off". Can't pinpoint it with my finger but maybe it's not minty enough - too weak so it just tastes bad and leaves an aftertaste, or my tongue feels weird, not quite sure how to describe it.
