This is good quality for DIY. For less than $3 each, there's nothing to complain about. Of course there are always problems with any product, but in this case the good outweighs the bad. Hence the 4 star rating. For those complaining about the packaging, yes it could have been easier, so removing the socket from the packaging would have been easier. My advice: 1. Get a flat head screwdriver or a screwdriver small enough to fit the socket and a hammer. 2. Hold the socket upside down and insert a screwdriver into the socket. 3. Hit the screwdriver handle 1-2 times according to your striking force, and the package should fall out. The package and the rest of the sockets will fall off, so make sure you are working on a table or have something soft to catch the falling package and sockets. It took me 2 seconds to pull the socket out of the packaging. Do the same for all sockets. Ready. Yes, the rubber insert in the bushing holds the spark plug in place. My advice: 1. If your finger is small enough, take some dielectric and put it on the hole of the rubber insert. 2. If your finger cannot get into the socket, put a punch on the plastic part (next to the threads) of the spark plug. 3. Reinstall the spark plug a few times and you should feel it dislodge. 4. Wipe off excess dielectric from spark plug before installation. To prevent the socket from sticking to the extension when installing, here is my advice: 1. Take the extension and plug it into the socket. Take the masking tape and wrap it around the outlet once or twice and pull the masking tape up to the extension cord. Now the two parts will not separate when you try to pull the socket and extension out of the motor. I wiggle the extension and base a bit when I tighten them.
