Review on Infrared Thermometer Extech IRT25 - 12:1 with Audible Alarm by Wayne Ohlrogge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hours of fun measuring IR temperature. A laser pointer will also come in handy.

Nothing to complain about at all. I needed an inexpensive way to prove to my IT department that my laptop was overheating (I work remotely) and this worked. Like most people with a new gadget, I spent the first day checking the temperature of all sorts of random things and this device is holding up well. I now have skin temperature references for myself, dogs, guinea pigs, and a bunch of other useless items. It's amazing how hot some things get and how quickly the refrigerator quiets down with the door open. My JRT is obsessed with chasing laser pointers so this even makes a great dog toy :-) For less than $6 as an add-on. the item was theft

Pros
  • IRT25 comes with two AA batteries
Cons
  • No instructions
