As some other reviews have noted the workmanship is not the best. In the rounded parts of the slots, each slot has a small notch at the bottom, as if it sank too deep when coming back. The scraper head had several mechanical notches. The metal on the outside of the handle appears rough. And if you press with some force, you can see the handle bounce off the metal, leaving a small gap that who knows how it holds. Edit: Now after the third use (grilled cheese) it's significantly weaker. If I shake it back and forth a bit you can hear and see the metal moving back and forth in the handle.
