Review on Tire Michelin Primacy 4 225/60 R17 99 V by Michal Machnicki ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

I decided to upgrade the Yokogama Geolandar G91 that was originally installed on the Forester 4 when it was manufactured. The old rubber had been worn down by sixty percent, leaving only four millimeters of tread. When compared to the previous tire, the Michelin seems much softer, almost as if there were a pillow placed in between the tire and the vehicle. On most surfaces, including significant bumps like speed bumps, it got noticeably quieter. This change was notably noticeable. The rutting came out really well. Brakes too. A really sturdy tire, but the Forester has lost its sharp handling and no longer encourages sharp movements, so driving it is not nearly as exciting as it used to be. The summary contains a number of inconsistencies. If you want to be able to light up while driving, I would not recommend the Michelin, but if you want to take it easy and enjoy the ride, especially on longer journeys, the Michelin is an excellent choice. The amount of fuel used is not significantly higher than it was on Yokogama.

Pros
  • Soft, quiet. It does a good job of following the course, and any abnormalities are immediately corrected. Does not cause the driver to experience "fatigue" Longer journeys are when this backpack shines. Low fuel usage. In general, I think it's an excellent choice.
Cons
  • Tires for senior citizens. The car no longer has the same responsiveness and handling as it formerly did.
