If you have a car with bolts (not nuts) you need these, actually you should have two of these dowel pins. It's almost impossible to fit a tire to a car without dowel pins, as you need three hands to do the job, two to properly line up the holes in the tire/wheel with the holes in the car, and a third hand to do the job tighten the eyebolt. I felt like I was on a reality show trying to do the impossible. Buy two as it is much easier to hang a wheel with two centering pins.
