I used these to make my lathes, they work very well. I made 10 cups and had no problems. Heat some explain the engine gets hot. Mine got hot as a coffee pot, that's the best I can explain. If the gymnasts go as far as burning or burning you, the problem may be with the cable you're plugging it into. Make sure the wattage matches the cable you are using.
