Serves the purpose well.
Pretty color, provides security from small bumps and scratches. It is a hard plastic with a smooth matte finish - a pleasant appearance. Some have noted that the bottom did not stay put or snap securely. I too, struggled with that, however, after a few days, I realized that there were two more snaps on the back side of the bottom piece. They do hold the bottom on better, however it can come loose easily. For those who are pretty easy on their laptops and careful - this is a very fine cover. Purchased for a A1076 with touch bar.
