As described, I will buy again

This is a large piece of steel. It's thicker than I prefer for making knives, but the price was right so I made a few meaty ones! While I can't say for sure it's 1095, it tempers fairly well, heats at home with no problems, and makes some nice blades. In the future I would probably choose 1/8, but making fat knives is fun.
