Purchased sensor for BMW Z3 3.0l. 2001. The sensor housing is larger in diameter than the stock BMW sensor; but it can be easily inserted into the inlet. Remove the negative side of the battery, then remove any necessary parts to gain access to the sensor location. I removed the sensor and installed a new sensor. Negative cable connected, then cleared the codes in obd2. The two codes I got with the old sensor were camshaft position sensor and O2 sensor bank 1. I'm 20 miles away now and no codes were showing. I'll drive a thousand miles and then report back. Many Thanks
