The router came with instructions to resolve a situation I encountered that required MAC address cloning for the ISP. There is a CAT 5 cable included but I actually needed two, one to connect the router to the ISP modem. , and the other from the router to my laptop so I can set the parameters for wifi. The CD that came with it did NOT work with my Windows 7 operating system. I ended up just opening a browser window and typing in the router's URL and it opened up right away! I used the default userid and password ( admin and admin, both lower case) and within two minutes I was online! Pretty good performance so far. Upload and download were 15 and 18, using Speedtest.net. I've connected two devices, a laptop and an iPhone, and they work. YouTube lags a bit on higher resolution settings, good for the price.
