If there are no options at all, then it is better with this paint

Hello readers of my review. I bought some shoes some time ago. Yes, not just shoes, but silver ones. Already in the store when buying, I was puzzled by the question of how to care for them, how to clean them. To which the shoe sellers assured me that now there is such a variety of paints and creams for shoes that I will definitely find the necessary product. But, to their great regret, at the moment they do not have a suitable remedy. I also thought about whether to buy such extraordinary shoes. But I liked the shoes too much and I could not refuse to buy them. Over time, scratches appeared on the shoes. No matter how carefully I tried to wear them, you will definitely catch your foot on office chairs or stumble on something else and that's it - a scratch in all its glory sparkles on the shoes. I don’t know how visible it is from the outside, but I know that the shoes are no longer in perfect condition. And it bugs me. In general, it's time to buy a remedy for these shoes. Already in the store of my city, I asked about paints for silver shoes. To which the seller answered me that there is liquid skin of different colors. Silver, of course, only on order, as it is not a hot commodity. The presented paints "liquid skin" cost 230 rubles. I was glad it wasn't that expensive. I ordered and waited. I had to wait almost a month. When I came to buy the paint, it turned out that it is a different brand is not 230, but 470 rubles. I had to take. The set includes a bottle of paint, which must be thoroughly mixed, a brush, a sponge and instructions. When I started cleaning (painting) the shoes, it turned out that the shoes must first be treated with a special tool that I don’t have. I just had to clean the surface with a soft cloth and start painting. First, I applied paint to the scratches with a brush, and then I began to more carefully paint over the surface of the shoes with a sponge. It was my mistake that with a brush I applied paint to both shoes at once. If on the first one these strips were distributed after staining with a sponge, then on the second shoe the paint had already dried up so much that the sponge began to gather into crumbs and it would be nice to just crumble. So no. These crumbs remained on the surface of the shoe and dried out. While I was applying the paint with a sponge, all this silver suspension had time to settle in the bottle. It was necessary before each application of a drop of paint on a sponge to stir all the paint again. I had to paint over absolutely the entire surface of the shoes, since the color of the silver is different from the original. My shoes were darker in color. The same paint has a color closer to white. After painting the shoes, I did not wash my hands the first time. You need to work either with gloves, or do not spare your hands later and scrub them thoroughly. A day later, I checked the quality of the painting and was not satisfied with it. Therefore, once again I walked the sponge over the surface of the scratches. A day later, the shoes were far from perfect, but the scratches were still less noticeable. At the same time, the overall color is now lighter, since the paint can completely overlap the original color (as the manufacturer assures). In the photo above, the first row before painting, the second row after the first application, the third row after the second application. So far, I have not been completely satisfied with this paint, but nevertheless, the color of the shoes has been updated and freshened up a bit. Therefore, I will recommend it, but I will rate three, for the price, the difficulty of staining, not an ideal result.
