Angelus Leather Paint Autumn Red Review

Painted some leather boots from black to red for a suit. The order was good, two coats were almost opaque. It dries slightly darker than the wet paint. It scratches slightly decently, but it only took 1/4 ounce in two full hours of painting, so I have more than enough left over to patch it up. In the photo, one coat on the right and two on the left.

. I used it on a pair of white ice skates for a Christmas decorating project. It took a few coats but the end result was just perfect. The color is a beautiful burgundy - perfect for the colonial color. These skates were displayed on a covered porch, but they got snow and frost. No cracks! I got so many compliments.

Looks like someone put orange paint on the red pile, tried to shake it well to mix it thinking it just separated but it didn't mix completely . Don't expect it to be a red apple like the picture, you will get a red that is more "fall red" and looks like a fall color.

I wish I had taken pictures earlier...we had black scuff marks on our 20 year old couch and even Although I thought the product looked too orange for my sofa, it is amazing and works great. If it looks light when applied, that's okay - it absorbs and blends well. I only used half the bottle. You can see the shadow of the old black spot but I'll reapply tomorrow to finish.

Best for coloring stripes on soccer shoes and sneakers. Clean well with alcohol or drugs and it will last a long time. I've had the boots for a year with no problems. I used a finishing product with rivets but I didn't bother with sneakers that don't get heavy wear and they look great. Two thin coats are better, the thinner the better. If that doesn't work, you probably didn't prep the surface or put a thick layer on top.

The leather seats in the car are badly torn. I tried another product but it only turned the cracks black so I went with this Angelus acrylic skin color. At first I thought the color was too dark since the seats are bright red. But after several applications, the color looks much lighter than in the bottle. And the seats look a lot better too. The cracks are now the same color as the seats, red. I have applied Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint to both seats 3 times and there is still some paint left
