I used foam guns several times. The best advice I can give is to always use a plastic tube or straw on the end of the gun. Even if it's just a 1 inch piece of plastic tubing, it keeps the gun tip clean and prolongs the gun life. There is no nipple at the tip of this gun that simply slips onto a straw. It comes with a couple of plastic attachments that you can use to attach a hose, but they'll be useless on two occasions and then you'll have to get more. I've had good luck with AWF guns. I would not recommend you to buy this one. Look for something with a nice prickly nipple, then buy extra straws and attachments
