Impressed with my new EDC bulb

Replacement for some 15 year old EDC bulbs (Fenix P1, SF 6P). The square head seemed like an innovation to me, so I bought it and I'm very satisfied. Ten-touch mine to provide HI/LO outputs and use every night to test traps. Bought a Mini-Mag Light Accessory Kit for a few bucks for a strap (just in case) and a red filter bezel cap. The aperture cover and filter fit well, but due to the Pro-Tac 90's tri-lobed head feature, minimal white light leaks towards the user rather than around the gasket. However, it is well suited for night hikes. The belt clip allows for up and down attachment, and the clip rotates around the body to attach the head to the belt. Small things but very useful. What matters is the light emitted, which at a distance of about 50 feet is sufficient to properly illuminate the target. The ability to use both AA and CR123 batteries is a definite plus as there are various flashlights that use these batteries. I won't argue about the run time of any of these power supplies as spare batteries are usually on hand. Suffice it to say nightly use for this and that and noticed that the battery has needed a monthly update over the last 3 months of ownership. To echo other comments, the switch has a "soft" feel, but once I get used to it, it doesn't really bother me. It's the size of an EDC pocket, but why carry holes in your pockets when this flashlight has a pocket clip? EDC means this thing will drop on concrete occasionally and still work. So in summary I am very satisfied with this lamp. Strange mine was bought new but now it has refurbished headlights on the list. Hm?
