This flashlight kicks $$!

This flashlight is bad, a$$. It has enough lumens and candela for just about any scenario. The price is okay at $40.00. The size is very compact and very ergonomic. The fact that you can use two types of batteries is a plus. I have personally tried other batteries and it also works with rechargeable lithium and nickel metal batteries as well as AAA batteries. These are 7 different battery types that you can use when you need batteries in an emergency. Depending on the battery used, you will get

Impressed with my new EDC bulb

Replacement for some 15 year old EDC bulbs (Fenix P1, SF 6P). The square head seemed like an innovation to me, so I bought it and I'm very satisfied. Ten-touch mine to provide HI/LO outputs and use every night to test traps. Bought a Mini-Mag Light Accessory Kit for a few bucks for a strap (just in case) and a red filter bezel cap. The aperture cover and filter fit well, but due to the Pro-Tac 90's tri-lobed head feature, minimal white light leaks towards the user rather than around the gasket.

The perfect flashlight for those who hate headtorches

The reason we don't use headtorches in the military is for 'versatility'. The 90 degree flashlight is much more versatile and with the advent of high power LEDs and lithium cells, this type of flashlight has become even more useful and durable. Ok, enough story. The basics: Streamlight actually bent the head of its ProTac 1L. That's all. Intermediate: OK, it's more like "1L-X" when you speak "Streamlight". That means you get ten-touch programming and a dual-fuel design. The latter means you can
