This flashlight is bad, a$$. It has enough lumens and candela for just about any scenario. The price is okay at $40.00. The size is very compact and very ergonomic. The fact that you can use two types of batteries is a plus. I have personally tried other batteries and it also works with rechargeable lithium and nickel metal batteries as well as AAA batteries. These are 7 different battery types that you can use when you need batteries in an emergency. Depending on the battery used, you will get different runtimes and light outputs. Streamlight, Maglite, Fenix has always been my choice but Streamlight has taken the lead with this Pro Tac line. A magnet at the end of the back cover and a red/green LED mode as part of the program selection would be ideal. I installed a magnet and bought filters for the light. Now it's perfect for my needs. Remember to follow the factory specs or you won't void your warranty.
