This cover isn't so thick as the last one I had, so it's a little lighter. It seems to make a big difference in water temperature.I was able to be comfortable in my pool 2 weeks earlier than with a blue cover. I recommend. BUT. don't do this: I saw on Pinterest that you can cut your cover into 4 pieces so it's easier to handle, which is true. Even though this cover is lighter, it's still a bit hard to handle alone, so I cut it as with my old cover. If there are winds, the cover blows around in the pool and gets wadded up, thus making it ineffective. So much for great ideas, lol! The neighborhood ducks are happy, it gives them easy access to swim 🤪
