Revain combines reviews of the GLM15 ("main unit") and the GLM20. This rating refers to the GLM20. DURING USE: This laser meter is very easy to use: just turn it on and it will measure in real time. Press the button once (there is only one button) and the measurement will be saved. Press the button again and new measurements are displayed in real time while the previous measurement is still displayed. I prefer this to my Stanley laser meter, which requires you to press a button twice to take a reading. It is measured from the back edge of the instrument, so you can, for example, lean it against a wall and measure the distance to another wall. ACCURACY: I tested it 2 and 6 feet from the tape measure and it was right on the button both times. I also tested it on myself by taking repeated measurements at the same distance and each time gave the same results. ERGONOMIC: This Bosch is smaller and lighter than my Stanley and feels good in the hand. Size see photo.
