Almost useless for 4Runner
I bought this guide because I just bought a used 1996 4Runner 4WD and I have a problem with the 4WD system. First, there are NO schematics at all for any 4Runner electrical system, only Tacoma and T100. In addition, there is not even an entry in the index for all-wheel drive. There is only a very small entry for the 4WD gear selector system which is only present on certain vehicles, it is not a standard 4WD system. There are neither mechanical nor electrical all-wheel drive systems to describe. Skip this guide if you are looking for information about the 4WD system on a 4Runner or even a Tacoma or T100. I intend to return this manual to Revain.com
