Review on 🚰 Lumax LX-1344 Black Hand Transfer Pump: Efficient Fluid Transfer Solution for Non-Corrosive Liquids and Oil Drainage by Chris Owens

My family races karts and at the end of the race day we have to drain all the gas from the tanks. I've bought some cheap $10 plastic liquid pumps but they always seem to crack or the hoses won't stay in the pump etc. I bought them mainly for the metal body and large hoses. I figured it would last longer and pump more per revolution. Other pumps have hoses that fit into the pump port and always seem to fly out of the center of the pump spewing gas everywhere. This pump has barbed nipples that allow the hoses to slip off, which is safer, but I can wire secure them to make sure they never come loose. It works great! It's really big - like 2 or 3 coke cans stacked on top of each other. It's a little clunky at times due to its size, but it does a great job of pumping liquid from one place to another.
