This great little gadget can be used to light candles, grills, stovetops, campfires, firewood, paper, fireworks and more, and it's easy to use. It's powered by internal rechargeable batteries and charged with a standard USB cable - the one that charges your Android phone. Works quietly and flawlessly. I measured it exactly 10 inches long with the handle being 5 1/2 inches of that length and the "neck" being 4 1/2 inches that length. I load fast. It replaces all of my butane lighters that have always bothered me - yes, this unit is all electric and no butane. The tip emits terribly hot sparks. They immediately light candles, matches and paper. It has a safety switch and only works when you press the button, so there's zero chance of accidentally triggering it. I find this arc lighter to be excellent value for money. I give him 5 stars.
