These wires fit my old cheese board (brand unknown)

Added: I've had one of these wires on my cheese board for three and a half months now and use it to cut cheddar cheese. at least once a day. Today the first wire broke, which I don't think is that bad. This time I installed the new wire fairly quickly. I was hesitant to buy these wires because I didn't know if they would fit my old cheese board. They came and I'm glad I took the risk. There is a guide on how to install the cables on the back of the box but I couldn't understand what they mean even though they are written in good English. I've been looking at instructions from other customers here in the questions section and still haven't been able to figure it out. All this despite the fact that I replaced the wire earlier with the spare wire that originally came with my cheese board, guided by common sense and common sense. I finally got it this time by accident. What I didn't realize was that even though the wire is at a 90 degree angle to the board, if you just tighten the knob it will rotate 90 degrees. I still don't quite understand why, but I'm happily slicing cheese for the first time in months.
