Review on Camping Cookware Stainless Outdoors Campfire by Peter Boisvert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well done sentence. Better for campfire cooking than in a camping or home oven. Blunt sieve.

This camping cookware set from Wealers is well made and really great for campfire cooking where its bow-shaped handles and metal construction really stand out. Detachable side handles are preferred for cooking on the camp stove or at home. The delivery took almost two weeks from the only supplier who offers the product, despite prior inquiries, and delivery was promised within 3-4 days. for induction. - The handles of the two large pots stand by themselves. - The handles of the small pot are well riveted although they swing freely. - The handle of the pan is stuck. - The stainless steel finish is mostly very good. - The carrying case is well made and fits well on pots. - A lid for each pot to look out for: - The photo showing the utensils provided is incorrect - The 'sieve' is actually between the small and medium pots, not in the small pot as pictured. The sieve is only a few inches high, so not much can be sifted, let alone a pound of pasta. A colander would make a decent steaming basket for a medium-sized pot if it was placed on the rim of the pot instead of the bottom, or at least had some legs to keep it off the bottom of the pot. Because it is neither a good sieve nor a usable steamer. A plain old folding steamer works better and fits in any of the pots. The lid handles thread onto a threaded rod attached to the top of each lid. Replacing the handles depends on the stem being standard threaded and staying attached to the lid. If the threaded rod ever comes loose from the lid, it might be worth drilling a hole in the lid to attach a regular bolted handle.
