Dissatisfied: Computers and accessories

So I bought them to plug into the USB sofa so I can connect our multimedia devices. Received the blocks and plugged them in, they didn't work. Not sure why. You can use them on a computer, but it took a while to get them working. I bought them because the price was right and they were USB 3. Now after a month of use they are shorted.
