addendum: after moderate success with a pack of 50, tried the second one. Four discs were burned, chosen randomly from the top and center of the spindle. Recorded at speeds from 2x to 6x on two different optical drives. Three hard drives failed during the recording process. One entry per 4x completed but failed IMGBurn and CDCheck. After 4 out of 4 errors I just requested a refund. Initial Review: Tried a pack of 50 PlexDiscs with the 6x logo after a long hiatus during which the quality of the brand seemed to have slipped. When writing at 6x the nominal acceleration, the failure rate approached an unacceptable 50%. When I reduced the write speed to 4x, the success rate increased to 100% on two different optical drives. Volume ID OTCBDR-002-000, identical to Optical Quantum. At 6x Optical Quantum & Plex blanks are unreliable for me in LG & Pioneer BDR drives. On 4x Optical Quantum the media is unreliable for me but oddly the Plex drives seem stable and reliable.
