I liked the old design, it worked exactly as it should. Ordered a new one after I moved and it was a new design. Aesthetically, the new one is better, but getting a good, steady flow to fill my water bottle is almost impossible. It takes forever to get a decent amount at once. I have to use my fingers to keep pushing the hole but even if I pour more it gets dirty. At one point he leaned in too far, disappointed in the slow flow that the lid released half the water all over the bottom. The old design was a lot easier to get a quick fill and this new design is a big disappointment.
