I had high hopes for this jug and at first I thought it was a wise choice but I was wrong. Filtered water tastes good, at least when the filters are running. You'll likely find that other reviewers have mentioned the excruciatingly slow filtering process, only to be given instructions to remove the filter, rap it on the counter a few times, and reattach it. The water the Reshape jug delivers deserves a 5 star rating but the very poorly constructed filtration system will understandably lower its rating further compared to others. Here's my update: GOOD: The filter is actually fast enough and after about 10 minutes the water in the tank is filtered. There are no problems with this. THE SAME (SAME) BAD: The issue of the lid not really preventing the tank water from contaminating the filtered water when someone pours is still there.
