Save time and ditch the rubber grommets and metal nuts that come with the drain. Use putty under the drain collar and at the bottom of the sink. Use the washer and nut provided. Use a 1 1/4" plastic nut instead of the small metal nut on the pipe. Put teflon tape around the threads where the drain hole meets the nut on the bottom of the sink.
- INSTALLATION When following the instructions to install the seals, ensure that the seals are installed in the correct position to prevent leakage. This pop-up sink drain filter fits 1.25" to 1.5" PVC tubing.
