This comes with very poor instructions so I have to guess how to set up the software and get the product up and running. After 6 hours of trial and error I gave up, the download speed dropped to 6MB with an upload speed of 234MB. I bought this product to speed up internet access on my old computer. Instead, it slowed down drastically (by 90%). At some point, I keep getting error messages stating that a software or product doesn't work with my current version of Windows (8.1), even though it says it's compatible with Windows 8.1. Although I'm not an advanced computer user, I have a moderate level of knowledge and a lot of patience. But after trying for 6 hours to get this product to work I gave up and am sending it back.
