Due to the high gloss polish, this set looks more expensive than its very low price. The bowl of the spoons is well and nicely polished at the top, bottom and edges. I wouldn't worry about using one of these spoons for baby feeding because of the smoothness, polish and finish of the bowl rims. However, the edges of the handles and trim leaves are a bit sharper and need further polishing. It would be better with such a polish in hand. However, the balance of these little spoons in the hand is amazing! Fits well in a cup or saucer. It feels so good in hand when you're stirring coffee, tea or whatever, I don't want to put it down. If you are looking for an inexpensive mocha spoon set, this is the perfect option!
