Review on Enhance Your Cycling Performance with Campagnolo PI6-RE BB Bolt-On Resin Cable Guides by Zach Peterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for my old mountain bike.

The original bike had a frame with no bolt but was held in place by a plastic rod through the hole in the bottom bracket. This fitted perfectly and the screw went into the existing hole as if it were threaded but it is not threaded. I have an old (1986-1996?) mountain bike, black model Diamond Back "Ascent". 21 speed, 26" impellers. This guide fits the cables a little better. Perhaps I should tell you that instead of removing the cables, I loosened them at the anchor bolts. Then, using a small Dremel cutting wheel, I cut a slot in the small "arch" holding the cable out of the way, not up and down. That way, if the cable ever gets slack, it doesn't fall out all the way. The slot in the old and new Dremel wheel is wide enough to slide cables in and out.
