Used twice so far with garden spikes to hold a waterproof blanket on the grass. It was quite windy both days and that kept the blanket in place. I've read several reports that waterproof/resistant rugs are slippery because the waterproof side and soft fleece side aren't sewn together. I didn't have that problem with them at all.
