diameter too small! I bought this PCV valve for my 2015 Honda Civic (current service). Installed the product with no problems. Jumped onto the freeway and . BAM. The Check Engine Light will illuminate with the warning message "Check Emissions System". After some troubleshooting I decided to fit an old genuine Honda PCV valve to see if that fixes the check engine light issue. Of course the check engine light went out. I then ordered a genuine Honda PCV valve (17130-PND-A01) and installed it and had no problems with it. If you look at the image comparison I've attached to this post, you can see the difference between this PTC PCV valve and the original Honda PCV valve. Please note that the original Honda PCV valve has a larger diameter compared to the PTC PCV valve. Obviously the 2015 Honda Civic computer can recognize the small diameter as it has less airflow to generate which may be inefficient. In short, if you are buying this product for a Honda, STOP! Buy a genuine Honda PCV valve instead.
