When FIOS increased my bill by 30% last month, I switched to Xfinity and bought a Netgear AC 1900 C7100V Nighthawk modem/router. This is one of only three modems on the market that are compatible with Xfinity Voice and based on the specs and reviews this is the best choice. So far so good after 1 week and I have no regrets. Good: 1. Installation was easy.2. Xfinity Voice works without any issues3. I have 3000 square meters. ft. home and internet coverage was good.4. No signs of heating problems that some others have reported. Not very good 1. I have Xfinity Blast internet service (up to) 250Mbps, but I only see download speeds of 35-50Mbps. It's too early to say it's just the modem , so I will contact support.2. I installed the modem in the bedroom and the front light is quite bright at night. I had to create a mask for the front panel to dim the light.
