Review on SilverStone F1 Monaco S radar detector by Kio Svyjok (levi) ᠌

A little bit not what I expected, generally fine.

Other than that, there haven't been any problems associated with the device, however there are moments when I just want to be left alone with my thoughts. The signature GPS module functions without any issues. Displays the distance to the camera in meters as determined by the GPS tag. If the camera is of the avtodoria variety, it will display the section's average speed. Simple enough to chew and swallow Cons: The most significant drawback is that the radar makes a lot of noise; I'm not sure how it is in other cities, but here in Hong Kong it just won't be quiet. Everything would be improved if the designers didn't drag out the remarks quite as much and got rid of words that aren't necessary; without those words, everything would be understandable. When the vendor mentioned that there were a lot of people sending their Silverstones back, I didn't give him much credence because I had a Silverstone in the past and it performed very well for me; however, there are times when I want to hand over this unit and buy something that is less talkative and, as a result, less unsettling. When you consider that the presence of signature filters makes everything worse, and that the radar, on top of everything else, believes that it is necessary to indicate in what range the signal is detected and that speed control is possible, you might think that I, personally, would not have guessed that. The test may be made even simpler, like they do with Xiaomi, which connects the phone through wi-fi and tests the bases over the air; but, what do I want from a radar detector in this price range?
