Review on SilverStone F1 Monaco S radar detector by Paul Gim ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

In general, a good thing, although a little expensive, but it works well. Has some pros Main functionality. It worked for everything that was needed, and very rarely for something that was not needed (shop doors). The sounds are excellent, not annoying, the choice of full-stripped / heterosexual voices for notification is fire. The application for PC is not very "fashionable", or something, but it works fine. It always felt like they were working on the product. Bases are constantly ated, a new radar was installed in the city - a couple of weeks maximum, and it is in the database. The ate application used to require the database to be downloaded from the site, now it is looking for them itself. The next device, a hybrid not from Silver, unfortunately - is much dumber in this sense, although it is ated much more conveniently via WIFI. Charger with cigarette lighter - very cool. The manufacturer obviously thought that the car could have one socket, and the second device to the radar - a separate registrar. The bulky design came out, but the Lacetti fit perfectly into the niche under the dashboard, did not interfere. Some cons: The suction cups just didn't stick to the glass no matter how hard I tried. I had to put it on a silicone mat and then scrub the torpedo after changing the device. A not very tight case - I carried it in a backpack pocket, small debris from it penetrated the case and dangled in front of the display - you can unwind the case and clean it, but then explain to the buyer why you took it apart)) Sometimes I danced with a tambourine when ating, because the application did not see the radar connected to the USB, I had to either wait or plug it into any other connector until it was recognized. Despite the fact that the problem could not be in the radar, but in the fact that Windows “understands” for a long time that you generally stuck it in USB, and as a result offers to format an unidentified device)) I didn’t try it, but if I don’t have access to this memory, it’s scary think about what would happen if you missed and formatted - perhaps you need to think about how to encode the radar so that it is not offered for formatting by Windows.

Pros: Weekly database ates Some cons: The fastening of the radar body to the glass is poorly developed.
