As a chef I am always looking for a good quality knife. Although I have several knives of very good quality, it's always good to have another one. Most of the time I help out at our church with meals for the elderly and funerals. That's why I like to keep my best knives where I do most of the work, and I keep a spare set of knives in my car in case I'm driving away (to church, for example) and need a quality set. This knife is of good quality with a full shaft. Weighs pretty well. This is definitely a knife I'm comfortable with and after a few passes through the steel it feels like a razor.
