This will scratch your pistons if you don't file the rough edges. When they punched out the slots that the band would hook into, they punched them towards the piston. This leaves raised, sharp ridges around the slotted holes that contact the piston and rings. If they stamped them the other way it would be nice. The holes are smooth and rounded on the side not touching the piston. The price was so cheap that I'll just file down the sharp edges with a small Swiss round file rather than returning them. I would look for other options if you don't feel like removing the burrs that should have been done at the factory.
