Review on 🚗 Qty (2) 4365 Jeep Liberty Rear Window Glass Gas Lift Supports - 2002-2007 PM2029 SG314048 by Toki Louton

I bought these for the rear window of a 2007 Keep Liberty. They work great (if a little too powerful) and are easy to install. but the included clips are not long enough to hold the ball firmly in the socket. I find that removing the clips from the ones you are replacing and putting those clips on provides a lot more security. From the looks of it, I feel like the preload from the spring's over-compression is keeping it connected for now, but I'm wondering how long they'll stay that way. I'm also wondering if the outlet is big enough and pressurized enough to work with a vent, or if it's part of the original design.
