I bought 3 harnesses for two different sized cats that were about the same size at the neck and torso. My friend in the photo is about 9 inches around her neck and wears XXsmall. It's a bit short in length but certainly fits her best. It doesn't cut into her neck or sides. She can't slip it (the other 2 she can) and doesn't mind wearing it longer because she can still clean herself. She will really sit to dress where others will fight her. She had to be harnessed because she is half Siamese and has become too territorial and aggressive towards our adult cat. With this I can hook the leash and loop it around or away from the other cat without funny slipping while walking or just falling to the ground to be pulled lol.
