The drill itself is garbage! Each broke after less than 10 holes. It is not made of high enough quality steel and becomes brittle fairly quickly. However, since I really wanted the sink to be exactly the right size and guaranteed to fit the Cumaru dowels, I simply pre-drilled a good quality 1/8 bit in a regular drill press and then used a professional spade punch (included) in it Impact wrench to countersink my holes. I know it's an extra step, but considering how much these things cost, it's worth it. The description also states that the countersink is suitable for 350 holes. Yes No! I use a Cumaru which is a little less dense than an Ipe and I end up with about 150 holes in each.
