I work remotely and have been participating in video conferences a lot lately. The lighting on my laptop was very poor and every time I watched myself on video I felt like I was sitting in the dark. I did a little searching and found this light which I give five stars for the price and ease of setup. Of particular note is that it works via USB, or you can plug it into a USB socket (not included), so plug it straight into your laptop or a power outlet. There are multiple brightness and tint settings. And I love that the stand is adjustable and I can keep it right on my desk without having to take it on and off as needed. I don't use my phone with it or the optional phone holder so I can't rate its performance with the phone but I can't imagine it would be any different. I didn't use a remote shutter release either. Good light, good price, set up in minutes.
