Review on 🔊 EZ-Hang by HANGMAN: No Stud Smart Sound Bar Shelf - 6", White Powder Coat by Christopher Cortez

I use this shelf to store my 5.1 center speaker. This is a small to mid-sized Klipsch speaker that weighs around 10 pounds. The loudspeaker was on the floor under my screen and I always had to unscrew it because it was difficult to hear. I wanted to install a shelf like this but didn't know what to use so I decided to try this EZ hanger. Installation was a lot easier than I expected. You basically just hammer in the base piece and there is a bubble level to help you get it perfectly even or you can use your own if you have one. You only need to drive 4 small nails into the wall and due to the way the shelf hangs it can support a lot more weight than you think. My wall is thin stiletto wood and I had no problem with the weight of my speaker on that wall. Since this is the center channel, it was very important to position it right in the middle of my screen, which is constant and on the small side at 100 inches. I didn't hit the bolt but that wasn't a problem and it holds up well in thin wood paneling and I'm sure it will work well in drywall too. There is a nice big hole in the back of the shelf and I routed the speaker wire through it and tucked the wire in some sort of plastic wire groove (not included). It looks good and above all it sounds much better since the speaker is aimed much closer to our ears, which allows us to hear much better the center channel where people mostly talk. This shelf appears to be for a soundbar. They might work if it doesn't take too long. The shelf itself is not very wide but when balanced or used with 2 shelves it works well for a long center channel under a TV or projection screen.
