Review on Nite Ize Original Steelie Dash by Cody Cobbs

I forgot when I bought the other one but I swear the base was smaller. The base is a little wide, and maybe it should be, but I was hoping it would be a bit smaller than my existing one. There aren't many places I could install this, and of course I didn't install it on one of my machines because it didn't fit anywhere on the front of the radio. It doesn't stick to the dashboard I think due to the fact that the surface is porous/not smooth. I ended up using it in the same vehicle I already had one of these in, but placed it in a better spot. Def is better than mounting vents. They end up scratching the area around the vent and I've had several vents fall apart when pressed hard enough to secure the spring clip. I like the idea but the balls came in a smaller size. The size of the magnet also offers a small hole and I use it to hold the phone for some grip so it's a win for me.
